power strips

what are the best power strips or what is every 1 using

One that includes GFCI protection if you don't already have that would be "best" for any line powered submerged devices..
Beyond that though for the most part all power strips are basically equal.. Whats important is keeping them away from moisture/salt creep.. That will cause a fire in even the "best" power strip after time..

Outlet to outlet spacing can be important as many devices have plug mounted power supplies that won't work with close spacing power strips if you want to plug one right into the next one.. So I try to go with a strip that has a couple inches between each outlet

If I was going to buy a power strip now I might pick up one of those that has wifi,etc... and can be controlled via a smart phone to in essence become a bare bones "reef controller" allowing you to turn on lights,etc... as needed (if your devices don't already have such control) You can pick those "smart powerstrips" up for as little as $24 for a 4 socket device.. But I have a smart home and think its neat/fun to be able to turn stuff on/off remotely or via voice control (Alexa/Echo)

I really like the dj power strips. nothing better than being able to flick a switch to turn it off.
