I've been crazy busy lately but finally got a chance to take a couple more pics.
My emerald crab from my old tank made the move to the cube and my serpent star from TBS came out to eat. And a pic of what's been keeping me so freakin busy!

The serpent star pic looks pretty cool, looks like something out of a tim burton movie.

I have 3 dogs, and I am pretty sure they consume most of my life. The rest is taking care of my tank..

Very nice setup. The only thing I don't like is the power cord on the floor running along the bottom of the wall....Assuming you have access under the floor, can't you bring power directly up into the stand, through the floor? Not trying to be a pain, but the rest of the system is so damn cool it would be nice if you could hide that power cord.

Thanks guys!
map, I am still working on disguising the cord, but no... i do not have under-floor access. Concrete slabs here in houston. I just had to lift up all the FLOR tiles and send them back to FLOR because they were not perfectly square. One side was 1/16" longer than the other which creates a problem when you are laying them down in the criss cross pattern against a straight object. New ones are on the way. I tried running the cord under the rug but the tiles are pretty stiff and thin so it buldges. I will most likely cover it in something red. There was no way i was going to trench the floor. And most of the viewing is from the other side of the tank, making the wire not too much of an eyesore in person. Also, i'll be running my ato line behind the baseboard molding from the other direction and entering the tank in the same spot. So the portion of wire that runs along the wall, I'll most likely stick behind the molding at the same time.

d2mini, I am in envy of your picture taking ability!!
Few of us are able to do our systems justice with our cameras, but I think your system and house is enhanced by yours!! Great thread and outstanding job on your tank!

Thanks, nl146! Good luck with your TBS order. You won't be disappointed!
UPDATE: This morning I just ordered some of SpectraPure's LiterMeter III products so I can implement a continuous water change system like some other RC members have done. I'm excited! Going to try to go pick up second 65g storage tank today. BTW, Scott at Aquarium Specialty was helping me out with the LiterMeter stuff. He was a huge help, and when he didn't have an answer he went straight to SpectraPure and found out for me. Now that's good service.

If you couldnt see the glass in the picture looking up into the tank, you would think it was a picture of the ocean.

Got some shots of one of my many porcelain crabs. These guys are so cool to watch, and they all came from TBS!
This guy was hard to see, haning upside down in my rocks, but it's another decorator crab. Not as cool as the red one though. And another FTS

Yup, that's my own little under-ocean beach, created by the vortechs.
I'm thinking about getting some doll sized beach chairs to put there.
