Wow, now they're grafting clams. Wait until this trend catches onto fish!

It's even better looking/more startling in person. If you get the chance go in and see it (and everything else, of course).

I will. I think I'll keep it in reed safe 40 gallon so angels don't bother it in big system or butterfly's in other tank.

Ok. I'm debating putting it my fuge on other side of cheto ball so I can blast it with ushio 14k white yellow light and just housing it until I move the tanks. I am convinced after keeping many clams and diving in tahiti that these clams need tons of par and shallow sun shallow lagoon type of par. And many of the 20k radiums and a like are too blue for long term health or not enough 500 to 600 spectrum relative. We will see. I don't want it I'm my display tanks now given the angels and butterfly's. So I have 2 choices. 40 gallon reef safe tank with one 400 watt radium or on cheto ball tank with high beam 400 watt white light.

i wonder if tridacna clams have the ability to become bilateral gynandromorphs like lobsters, butterflies, and others...
http://www.lobsters.org/ldoc/ldocpage.php?did=436 perhaps that is what this is?
