Silicone 1" Inner diameter tube - Where to buy

Looking for silicone (or any flexible material) hose for return line, 1" inner diameter. Is there something cheaper than BRS option ($8 per ft).

Can someone post a link ebay or Amazon or Home Depot?

$8 a food for quality 1” tubing isn’t a bad price. Here is some 1” ID food grade silicone tubing from a brewing supply place that is a bit less but you will probably pay the difference in shipping.

That said, the vinyl tubing from Home Depot and Lowes is garbage. It’s usually kinked and not what I would choose for return plumbing. I’d spend a bit extra so you get quality tubing that won’t kink easily and is appropriately thick or if you are really concerned about cost, hard plumb it with PVC.

Home Depot and Lowes stock it and sell it by the foot.

I wouldn't buy the spaflex from Lowes. If it says made in china on it the stuff is terrible. Home depot's is more expensive but is much higher quality.

I don't think you'll be sorry about that. Silicone tubing is simply expensive, no matter where you buy it from. We buy medical grade, platinum cured silicone at work, and it's definitely not cheap.

But there's an upside over vinyl or spa flex. Both will harden over time as the plasticizers leach out, albeit slowly. Silicone will never harden - it'll be here long after the human race is gone and the sun's expanding into a red giant.

It has worked for me well till now. Much freedom moving the pump around vs braided tubing that gets hard.
