RD3-230+freshwater=safe?

I'm looking to reboot my tank, but wanted to check in on something here. I plan on running some freshwater for about a week just to make sure theres no saltwater stuck in a crevice somewhere harboring aptasia.

Is there any reason that it would harm the pump? I assume its fine, but you know what they say about assuming.

Thanks!

No issues using it fresh water. It's 100% fresh water and salt water safe!
