Yellow Corris Wrasse not yellow

I got delivery of a few fish last Friday and upon opening the shipping container, one of the fish, a Yellow Corris Wrasse was pale or almost gray. No signs of yellow at all. He acclimated well, adjusted to the tank and is eating like a pig. I'm thinking it was stress from the shipment, but I don't have a clue. Any idea what is going on.....Thanks

You are correct, it was more than likely his stress colors. How does he look now?

That’s not a yellow, it’s the green(chloropterus).

Give him a chance to settle in his new home. If he's otherwise healthy ( as you say ), then chill, my man. Leave him be.

This ^^^ and this fish is not nearly as desirable. Get's huge, has a bad attitude and is not very colorful as an adult vs. H. chrysus...moderate size, easy going and stunning as an adult.
