Icp test

Has anybody tried the icp testing to figure out what’s wrong with your tank?

My issue specifically is some milleopora lost its colors pretty quickly and lost polyp extensions. I’ve been testing regularly with the test kits I have (alk, cal, mag, nitrate, phosphate) but all numbers were good, nothing stood out.

Just wanted to see if the results you received made sense and if whatever they suggested to do based on the results actually worked for your tank

I do it once every 6 months or so, mainly to identify if any electronics are leaking water in (it will give copper in the test).

My results have been fairly consistent between different test/samples, as well as with the test that I do at home for basic stuff. So I assume it works pretty well.

What is your P and N levels? Loss of color and PE can be a result of starving corals.

I found out my salt mix had only half the potassium. Since I fixed it, I haven’t lost a coral.
