Aquaforest and AWC
Hi,
I am wondering if anyone using the Aquaforest salt is also running an automatic water change system. I noticed that you recommend using the new probiotic saltwater right after mixing it up. Is it problematic to mix a large batch (40-60 gallons) and use it up over a month long period? Thanks

@fessoclown that is true... for a best effect of Probiotic Reef Salt it good to use it 15-30min to max 24h after mixing. After 24h bacteria in the water could die so there will be no sens to pay extra for this salt and there will be no effect that we expect. Nothing wrong should not happend but there is no sens to use it. If it be mixing more than 24h use Reef Salt. It is not recommended to keep salt ready (dissolved) more than 5days. In my opinion it does not metter what brand of salt.
