Would this even be possible?

I have been absent from RC for a while. My tank crashed again while I was away on vacation and it dampened my spirits. Im back now with a thirst for knowlege and to help others. My question is one that i have thought about for a long time. I have always loved frogfish, but I wasn't fond of the fact that they should be a species only display because I love having multiple fish. Would it be possible to have say a standard size 180 gallon or something and put up partitions to keep multiple frogfish in the same tank, but in separate areas? How would you circulate a tank like that? For aquascaping, would it be possible to treat the partitions as a reef and attach soft corals to grow on it? This is just an idea, but i would love everyone's input as to whether or not you think this will work, and how to go about it if it will.

Thanks

That is very possible.

As you said, they main problem would probably be the flow. Some frog fish, like the wart skin can sometimes be kept in groups.

I love the sound of the tank, keep us posted!

I have always wanted to do something like this but my idea was more like a chain of 20 gallon tanks all plumbed together. So I say go for it. These are such great fish.
Good luck

Can definitely be done, think more acclimation box design for each individual section

FWIW, we have a smaller setup (40B) that is partitioned permanently. It has been used to house multiple mantids, lions, and scorps at one time or another.

The tank has a common overflow and sump, with returns into each compartment. The back and the partitions are black acrylic so the "neighbors" can't bother each other.

LMK if you have any questions regarding the setup.
