Coco worm advice?

So far everything is fine, but I want it to remain that way. I'm going to start feeding it phytoplankton, I guess twice a week? Not sure how often I should feed it. I ignorantly assumed it wasn't a hard to keep creature, after more research I feel really impulsive. (then again at $15 I still can't blame myself) So really if you've kept one long-term, any tips/tricks to keeping it healthy and growing would be very appreciated.

Oh and I've actually had this thing since October 23rd, and it's been out most of the time I've had it. It sometimes retracts but only for a short period of time. Here's a pic:

Great find for $15. I didnt do anything special for mine. I was using phytofeast for a while but then switched to NSW and never added anything after that.

As far as I know they are the same as a feather duster, fairly easy to keep. In nano tanks you can do frequent water changes to replenish micro-organisms for it to feed on. For larger tanks you can probably get away with nothing additional added, or you can do one of the filter feeder foods like Reef Chilli (I use this one, it works wonders). Just be careful when adding filter feeder foods, I got a little over excited about the effects it was having on my Zoas and started feeding the dose required for a 30g tank daily...in my 15g cube. The algae outbreak was monumental. Back on topic... you got a STEAL for the coco worm, near me they go for at least $45.
