Filling tank question 250g

I'm just slowly filling tank with RO from my unit it's a slow process

1. When should you put heater in?
Will it matter to have chilly water till I do app my leak test.
2. When should you start to move water around with power head

3. Will add salt after leak Test are done unless I shoudnt

Fill tank all the way up, then turn on pumps and dump salt in, then once clear start heating the water.

Cold water mixes better than warm water. I mean if it is at risk of freezing then heat it but if it is just coming in cold and moving towards room temp then leave it be.

I’ve always put a circulation pump down low once I had a foot or so of depth with a heater to give it a head start. Made dissolving salt easier. That’s just me tho

The Winnipeg fish forum is very dead, at all times. Is there a good one on RC? If not, we should...
