no - use threaded / barbed fittings and adapters to join that hose to PVC pipe.

There is a 'solvent' available for PVC to vinyl ... It has remained strong for over 10 yrs on my system, including the output side of my Hammerhead pump.

Thats vinyl tubing BTW...
Barb fittings are the preferred method.. There is flexible PVC tubing though (spa flex,etc...) that can be glued just like rigid PVC pipe/fittings and fits into the same fittings..

I've replaced all of the vinyl tube in my system, and much of the rigid PVC, with ultra flex PVC. As noted, it solvent welds right into standard PVC fittings avoiding any flow-robbing barb adapters.
