They usually use enough heat packs, and they KNOW the weather's rotten. But some have lost orders in this weather. If so, they will work with you, I'm pretty sure. If they get there, but are cold, float the unopened bag in proper temperature water to raise the temperature slowly.

Match the salinity of the bags. Don't drip acclimate the bags as ammonia will be too high.

Hopefully you get Saturday delivery where you live. FWIW, where I live at least, UPS is more reliable than FEDEX.

A couple drops of prime can mitigate ammonia when drip acclimating in the bag. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Liveaquaria shipped out the lost specimen yesterday for today's arrival. Why are they using UPS again? Its almost 330, and UPS still hasnt delivered the package yet. I never had issue with Fedex. I might have have to stop using Liveaquaria if fish and inverts keep arriving late.

I always "hold for pick-up" when ordering online so that you get the animals at 7:30am.
Even if its a 20min drive its worth having them safe and sound. I wouldn't order online if you can't do that.
