liveaquaria order

Placed an order with them on wednesday for a friday delivery. found out today the shipment was delayed by ups. didnt know liveaquaria use ups, and not fedex. hope everything arrives alive. a few fish, clams, and corals.

They usually use enough heat packs, and they KNOW the weather's rotten. But some have lost orders in this weather. If so, they will work with you, I'm pretty sure. If they get there, but are cold, float the unopened bag in proper temperature water to raise the temperature slowly.

Salinity 1.024-6; alkalinity 8.3-9.3 on KH scale; calcium 420; magnesium 1300, temp 78-80, nitrate .2. Ammonia 0. No filters: lps tank. Alk and cal won't rise if mg is low.

Current Tank Info: 105g AquaVim wedge, yellow tang, sailfin blenny,royal gramma, ocellaris clown pair, yellow watchman, 100 microceriths, 25 tiny hermits, a 4" conch, 1" nassarius, recovering from 2 year hiatus with daily water change of 10%.

Match the salinity of the bags. Don't drip acclimate the bags as ammonia will be too high.

Hopefully you get Saturday delivery where you live. FWIW, where I live at least, UPS is more reliable than FEDEX.

A couple drops of prime can mitigate ammonia when drip acclimating in the bag.

I did an order an recieved Friday as well. 1 shrimp was DOA but they quickly refunded. How were they??

everything arrived in decent shape this morning, except the coral beauty and a few snails were doa. the corals and clams are doing good.

Liveaquaria shipped out the lost specimen yesterday for today's arrival. Why are they using UPS again? Its almost 330, and UPS still hasnt delivered the package yet. I never had issue with Fedex. I might have have to stop using Liveaquaria if fish and inverts keep arriving late.

I always "hold for pick-up" when ordering online so that you get the animals at 7:30am.
Even if its a 20min drive its worth having them safe and sound.
I wouldn't order online if you can't do that.
