Thanks m8

Although it may seem controversial outside the netherlands, many dutch reefers practice my reefkeeping method succesfull nowadays.
It's even slowly becoming mainstream😉.

When corals grows like weed, you need to find a purpose for the excess corals.

I just throw some frags in a 200l tank and did some experimenting ...

Now the corals has grown into real colonies i decide to go for butterflies..
After all the corals were sacrificial and they served a higher purpose.
They opened the door for a healthy "butterfly reef"...

This is now butterfly mania ...

The corals appear none the worse for wear in your butterfly reef. Can you comment or let us know how they appear close up?

Thx

Butterfly fishes are awesome!

Can you give us more info on NPS failure? I remembered you were keeping NPS system under dymico filtration and feeding dailly phytoplankton and rotifers. Were filtration inadequate? Feedings not enough? Which NPS corals didn't make it? Any more info will be appreciate a lot. Thanks in advance.

Failure was due to the high level of maintenance needed.
I have tried many setups and all failed because i can't put in that much time in feeding and maintenance.
Dymico did just fine for a long-time but to heavy feeding phosphate run up after a while. Did not want to spend to much time with this problem and i hate applying GFO.

So what is the large pipe between tanks? Do the fish swim through it? looks big enough in comparison to the angel
