How Many Horses per gallon?

i just added a new set of horses to my tank and i would like to add more if possible. the tank is a 37 tall. i just added 2 medium sized horses (H. reidi ??????) , 1 dragon faced pipefish, and 1 banded pipefish. what is the maximum amount of horses/pipes that i should have in here. i could have sworn that i had read somwhere that it could house in the neighborhood of 8, but this doesnt seem right to me.

Depends on filtration but IMHO you are close to full. If you have a good filter you might be able to get away with another pair of reidi if you watched your levels closely.

IME biological filtration has been best for me, although I love my UV filter. At this point I wouldn't run a tank without a UV.

It really kinda depends on your setup, what does it all intail?

I wouldn't add more than 1 more horse or 1 more pipe to your current setup, and not until you get better filtration. Probably 4 animals with the filtration you currently have is about at capacity.

The magnum HOB cannister is popular. I like my fluval 304. I am also a big fan of my UV sterilizer. I found my refugium to be very helpful and increase my water quality as well as volume.

Didn't have that great a luck with the Whispers IME.
