Anyone know of cheaper/small gobies or had luck keeping bumblebee gobies in a reef?
I love nano fish like the red spot goby. I have 8' tank but prefer to fill it with smaller fish. Unfortunately 15 bucks for a goby this size is absurd.
Bumble bee gobies tend to go for around 4 bucks and that seems much more reasonable. Anyone had luck with these brackish fish in a reef tank? Or can you think of other tiny fish that would be great for a reef and not cost an arm and a leg considering I want to get many many many fish? Green banded gobies have a lot of personality. Seem pretty inexpensive. I know what you mean. Hard to find small fish for less than $30. Kinda high for a 1 inch fish. Red Fire fish, Royal grammas could be in a group in a tank that size, barnacle blennies
