Red reef fish. Reef fish with the best color.

I’ve noticed there aren’t many that are red and the few that are available command a bit more.

Flame angel and flame hawk are two that come to mind. I own both

What are some other fish that have colors that really pop?

Blue spotted jawfish is another fish with amazing colors and for that a hefty price tag. They’re around $100 where I live

Those jawfish are pretty costly everywhere. What size tank are you looking to add to? Anthias have great colors, as well as wrasses.

Flame angel is more likely to be orange than red. Seconded on the wrasse. I have a red-headed fairy that is really red. Aggressive little buggar though. Fortunately my 7" dusky keeps him in line.

I have a pair of purple tilefish that are absolutely stunning in color, like a metallic purple. I also love my gold flake angel, super beautiful and personable but you’ll need a tank at least 150 gallons, larger is better.

Completely agree here. Thinking about getting one in fact.

Also agree on the Royal Gramma. They are not unique but they are just so pretty and striking. It's hard to keep them out of a reef tank in my opinion.

Vroliks wrasse is a stunning fish, but more in the blue color range.

I like my Red Fin Fairy wrasse for a splash of red in the tank. active, always visible fish, so great for the color.
