would a fish with ich contaminate other fish during TTM?

I have 2 fish in TTM now. one of them has ich.

I think that ich would not be passed over other fish during TTM since fish are transffered to the next tank before 72 hours and any ich cyst would need 72 hours or more to produce the Theronds which I believe is the infective stage of the parasite.
Protomonts ( which are the parasites that fall from and infected fish) can never infect a fish directly and only encyst correct??

Thanks for your answers

Well I mean the point of TTM is to eliminate ich. So maybe yes, but it matters little since you're going through the protocol to treat it.

No the ick on a fish will not go to another fish. Your correct during the ttm you are transferring the fish before the ick has time to encyst reproduce and then "hatch so to speak"
