Hi,
Imo, the best dip for corals is TLF Revive Coral Cleaner. It is well tollerated by all corals I've dipped, including various LPS and SPS. Even acropora tollerate this dip well. Word of warning though, when using the aforementioned product, only dip for 8-9 minutes max with acropora, or else they are likely to bleach/brown out. In fact, an 8 minute dip should be fine for all corals; not much point in dipping for longer. The two 'pests' that are very hard to get rid of, are AEFW and monti eating nudis. Hope this helps, Tony

Hey Tony, did you have some SPS brown out with this dip? I have and do leave mine in for 30 min. i do see all the pests die and release from the coral within a few min but
I want to be sure. I haven't lost or damaged a coral yet. |

Another thing is don't overdose with it, follow manufacturers recomendations. Imo, 30 mins is way over-kill; I would not risk it with any acropora and as you've said, most nasties drop off within the first few minutes. To enhance the product's bug killing capability, you can use a turkey baster to blast the corals in the dip. That said, if it works for you then fair enough.
