What would you like to dose? Limewater is best dosed with a peristaltic pump, for example. Topoff or additives might be fine with some other style of pump.

I use that same the BRS 1.1 mL per minute doser for vinegar/lime dosing, and it seems to work well.

If you do go with the BRS doser, you will need a way to control it. Most reefers will use a controller, but some will use digital timers. I myself have 2 Drews dosers controlled by my reefkeeper lite.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't you need 2 of the BRS 2 part dosers - one for Alk one for CA? I'm a little confused as it calls itself a 2 part doser but it looks to be a single pump.

BTW you wouldn't need a 3 pump as the mag can always be done manually as it is so infrequently added - just add it when you are refilling the other 2 part containers...

Yes, you need two of the BRS dosers to add both the calcium and alkalinity parts.

I use a Home Depot digital timer to control it.

well i wanted to get a 3 or 4 part digital doser for also in the future poss vodka dosing etc. or do you think this is a waste. like i said before im new to this and also trying to think ahead a little bit so i dont have to spend it twice.
