Cheato Flow
Wondering how much flow people using Cheato are providing for it.
The flow on my Cheato is hardly any, but I get good growth, but could It be better with more flow? Opinions? |

A tumbling ball is best and keeps detritus out and all sides receiving light. This is not good for me however as I use the fuge as a cryptic zone where detritus settles. If it's growing, your good. Remember, unless your harvesting chaeto, it's really not worth all the work and lighting of a fuge.

The flow in my fuge is rather slow. It is the output of the AC and GFO reactors. I have a par 38 led spot from HD above and a plant grow florescent on the side. In the last two months, the baseball sized starter clump of cheato is now basketball sized. There is no visible movement in the cheato and it is growing like a weed. I will have to harvest some this week as it has out grown the fuge.

My fuge flow is super slow. My chaeto grows well but I have to reach in there and flip it every day or two so it gets light on all sides.
