DIY 90gal sump and stand

Hello all, I'd like some opinions on a DIY sump and stand I'm building for the 90 drilled tank I got to upgrade my 55.

I have an old tank to use for the sump (36x17x12) and want to use all the same equipment I have for the 55 (it's all oversized).

Attached is my 2d plan.

Thanks!

I'm not seeing the photos.

Maybe since you are new, the pictures are "locked" or "jailed" so you don't hit us with pron.

the last one is for a 90gal on top and 40breeder on bottom. Super nice!

I dont think you need that canister filter, especially when you have a sump. Also, you will need a bigger skimmer, as most HOB's arent going to be big enough for 120G of total water.

Just my 2C

Eliminate the canister filter. Place the skimmer in the middle section and return in the last chamber. Go with an in sump skimmer vs the undersized HOB.

I have a build thread for a stand & canopy in the DIY section if you care to look at it.
