Very nice tank, I have questions hopefully someone can answer. One of the fish pictured appears to be a rabbitfish, but I dont see what I would recognize as a rabbitfish latin name Siganus.... Can someone tell me what that fish is called? Also does anyone know where to get one of those auto phyto dosing reactors?

I jsut went back through the list of fish, is it possible the rabbitfish is Lo Uspi?

Did a little research and answered my own questions. Yes rabbitfish is Lo Uspi, and Grotech phyto reactor = alot of $.

I think one could go snorkling in the 385 gallons of water changed EVERY WEEK! That is about $300 worth of salt!

I love how the front rolls forwards like that to allow for easy accesss in the front, but still looks like an in-wall tank. I'm going to have to remember that for my in-wall tank. Other then that it is simply breath taking! I love everything about it, as well as the fact that it is an inverse bow, just plain nuts! Anyone have an idea on how much it would cost in the US to get similar but smaller tank like that?

Lots of Deltec equipment. The skimmer is made by H&S.

Glad to see more of the amazing European tanks that are out there, just a shame about the language barrier. There are more out there i have glanced thru sites with european languages not understanding a word and seeing pictures of amazing tanks.

Being perfectly honest , the Great Barrier Reef exhibit at Sydney Aquarium which was my idol tank doesnt look anywhere near as good as yours.

- good work in inspiring more people into this wonderful hobby , and making us think yeh all the time and money spent is all worth it in the end

Great Tank!

In the article, he mentions that there are a variety of electronic meters including two pH meters and an "rH" meter. I have never heard of this and found no results on google. What is an "rH" meter?

I can not get very well how the rods ov PVC were glued and placed in the back , I wish I could recive some more details abouth rockscape Tane.?

The rods in their saddles are glued against the back and side wall. LR is tied to the rods by means of heavy duty cable binders.

rH means redox. The higher, the more 'oxidizing' the environment is. A lower rH means a higher content of organics in the water. It is difficult to compare redox values of different tanks. It is more used to see a trend in the environment of a tank. A sudden drop means that there is something wrong. To get an idea: when I upgraded the skimmer of my tank to a better one, the rH increased from 350 to about 450.

Equipment on this tank is from all kind of manufacturers. Pumps are mainly by Royal Exclusiv, the Badu pump is actually designed for swimming pools, the MH fixtures are normally used outdoors, the skimmer is H&S, the Ca reactor is from Aqua Medic, the phosphate filter is from Deltec, the Phyto reactor from Grotech, different controllers by Aqua Medic... And lots of DIY by the guy mentioned in the article, Richard.
