Cyphastrea with "bubbled" polyps

My Cyphastrea has been growing well but I have had 2 polyps that have bubbled, almost like a zit (sorry, pretty gross) on the surface of the coral. Any ideas on why or what this is?

Parameters all within very acceptable ranges of normal. Lighting- MH 500W (10K), Fluor- 96W, LED- 9W. Water change- 15% every other week.

The bubbled polyp is in the lower left hand corner and overlies the dark shadow on the live rock.
