monti cap fading to white?

I've had this specific monti cap in my tank for about a year now and it's always done pretty well. I haven't had a lot of time to stare at my tank as of late so it wasn't until today that I noticed it had lost a substantial amount of color/flesh. It's turning white, and some small parts near one of the edge is brownish. Here are what my water parameters tested at:

salinity: 1.028 (working to bring this down as we speak)
alk: 8.45dKH
calc: 410ppm (dosing to bring this up a tad)
mag: 1330ppm (dosing to bring this up to ~1350)

The only thing I changed recently is that I tuned my LED lights DOWN ~5% a week or two ago to see if I could get a bit more color in some of my acros. Here's a pic of the monti cap (hard to get a good shot because of the LED lighting), the specs of green are the monti's flesh...the white is well...no flesh:

There are numerous threads on monti-caps losing their color...but very few were about ones that were thriving in tanks for long periods of time. Any idea what could be going on? I have an idaho grape and an orange/pink cap that seem to be at 100%.

I got some corals from an established tank, brown, red, and green caps. All pretty large. The green and red are doing great. However the brown one has turned white, and looks very purple at night time. They were under some type of leds, and when mved over to my tank they are now under 250watt 14ks

I would take a guess at light shock, try moving the light up again and give it some time.

I just looked at my spreadsheet...I guess it was a little more than 5%. I'm using an AI SOL Blue, which has White, Blue, and Royal Blue LEDs. Previously my configuration was:

W/B/RB: 35/45/45

now it's set at

W/B/RB: 20/40/40

So the blue's went -5%, but the white went -15%. I'll crank it up a notch so the difference is only -5% white as well. Corals can go into light shock from a sudden reduction?
