Blue dot toby puffer growth
Hey, I got a blue dot toby puffer about 2 weeks ago from Liveaquaria and he's doing great. He's about 1.5-2" right now. I was wondering how fast do toby puffers normally grow? I know they only grow to about 6" right? He's in my 125 right now and from experience I was wondering how fast do they normally grow?
Thanks -AC |

Toby puffers grow at an average speed of anywhere from about .25 to 1 inch per year or so depending on the size. Very young toby puffers grow at a faster rate than more mature ones. They usually only get between 3-4 inches in total length in a tank.
