Smile Reef Aquarium 1350 gallons in Bucharest

Hi everybody,

First of all I would like to salute you and show my admiration and respect to this community hard work and beautiful results.

Three years ago I didn't even know what an aquarium looks like and now I'm allready working to one that seems too big for my knowledge. With your help I will probably gather enough information to make it work. I also want to thank all of you that will read and participate to this thread.

This is all my experience in the last three years with marine life:

Your fishes are very healthy.
So the new tank is still fish only with live rock. Right?

Thank you for appreciation.
I allways try to keep the fish healthy but sometimes is just not possible.

The new tank from my opinion is a little bit more strange because it's on the seventh floor of an apartment building with over 22000lbs (10 tonnes) of weight.

After seeing your tank I don't know what I want anymore...
First to see the tank and the stand done and will take a decision on what is going to be.

The stand

Hours and hours talking with the structure guy about the steel for the stand. Finally we agree and the parts arrived:

Great view from the window to the outer world. You got plenty of free light there and you are getting the best out of the natural sunlight. Good luck with your project and look forward to see how it develops.

Smile

I'm guessing that small room behind the tank is going to be your maintenance room for all of your equipment and supplies?

Also, do you have some layout or drawing of the final plan for this project. Obviously you are working with an interior designer, architect, engineer or something of this sort. What's the final project scheduled to look like? Give us an idea of where this is headed. Give us a sneak peek of the process. I mean we know you didn't just walk in to your LFS and say, "I'd like to buy a 1350 tank, what do you have in stock?" LOL!!!!!!

Thanks!!!!!

Okay .... another massive reef build thread. RC should name another new title to tanks over 1000 gallon or more instead of Large Reef Tanks .... seriously !! The set ups, equipments etc. are entirely different from the regular settings for tanks way under 1000 gallon capacity!!

Now we have Chingchai (Thailand), nineball (Canada), nahham (Dubai) & andytripa (Romania) ... so who's the next one!!??!

Thanks to a tipster to this thread ... xmasia !

Paul

Certainly not Scott in Indiana. We find it hard to make big tanks like these out of corn..........
