I would really struggle and have hard time in choosing what to replace in this tank. Each and every coral is unique and good looking.

I agree, the macros are nice but pairing the macro with a wider shot showing the whole colony and surroundings is better.

Thanks, Tim.. I know I might sound like an a@@ for saying this but I'm not entirely happy with some colours.. Some reds are not what they should be and some blues aren't either.. Once I get nutrients where I want them, I will begin playing with Koral color and micro e as per Biggles. Well Andrew, I have a video for you! Another one I pretty much shot and uploaded.. But with music.. One day I may try to put something with a little more thought together. But before that I HAVE to mention something.. I have been watching Sir David Attenborough's 3 part series in the Great Barrier Reef and it is FANTASTIC. I had the pleasure of watching it (for the second time) with my daughter and it really is so good. My daughter really loved the second episode with the large animals.. The manta rays are just stunning. Ok.. Andrew a little reef porn for you! http://youtu.be/WBYKgt8X6Ek

I liked watching the video Matt. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed the soundtrack too. I could not help feeling that you could keep a few more pyramid butterflyfish. I think these fish are at their best if they are kept as a group.

I'd love to get 3 or 4 smaller ones. I kind of feel that the one I have is too big.. I'm considering taking him out.. Could someone explain to me how to embed the video in my post? I have seen the explanation elsewhere but I still don't know how to do it.

Thanks, Matt. That is not an option from my phone, which is what I use 95% of the time. All you can do is copy the link..
I'm going to try from my PC, just to know what I'm doing..

Ward Thanks for the video. It is giving me some great ideas. Pretty excited here. Both my wife and I are following the SPS threads and we decided to upgrade from our 220g to an 8' tank. Probably 30 wide and 27 high. There is planning involved and will start a thread when the wheels get rolling. Keep the videos coming. Need ideas.

If you let me know the code for your video, I will show you how it looks. [ youtube ] code is inserted here [ / youtube ]

The video was awesome Matt
You can put the last bit of the link you posted between [youtube] [/yo...be] if you can't copy and paste the embed code Matt was talking about. WBYKgt8X6Ek

Agreed,
I loved the video, and the sound was great too, like peanut butter and jelly Matt, you have an outstanding tank, your corals are vast with color contrasting, the saturation of your corals is also beautiful Keep them coming!

He is a pretty fish, very hearty and not aggressive at all. I just wish I had 3 small ones and not one large one.. Anyways, I don't think I'm doing any major changes to my fish population.. Test: Quote:

You mean the largest fish in my tank? The one that swims across the tank right at the end of the video?

WOW Matt that's just gorgeous man. I see your colors fine man, I can only dream for my tank to look like that one.
BTW how was Cuba? I have always wanted to go, but I think my parents and grandparents might shoot me. They are from there, and left due to political reasons. |
