I am new to this community. So I've been poking around and looking at posts and what not. I'd like to say, you are absolutely hilarious. I had to share your initial post with my husband so he could see why I kept chuckling. .
I had a 300 gallon for years. Then we bought a new house almost 2 years ago and the tank wouldn't fit through any of our doors. What!!? NOOOO! I had to find homes for all my fish that were 10 - 11 years old. I conducted a serious interview process for all my babies. Seriously. Haha. I found every one a good home except for my damsel . He was my first ever saltwater fish and won't die. Couldn't give him away. Well... I was picky and only beginners wanted him. His name is DD for damn damsel. So now I have a 32 gal coralife biocube. He is the King of the Tank now, the old fart. Full of bossy energy of course. Sigh Mostly wanted to say....I'm jealous of your ridiculously amazing tank. I'm joking. No I'm not. Your set up is absolutely beautiful!!. I will continue to watch as it develops!! Live vicariously through you. Take care! Lisa |

Tristian's Reef : 325 Gallon Build Prbly Flooding the Floor Again...
Thanks for the kinda words and complements Lisa !
Abishek - I will be using a combination of 8 t5 and 4 radions. I have a 5th radion g4 on standby if I need. In other news my fuge is plumbed and operational! My tank has cleared up with that weird algae outbreak I had after adding th salt and some powerheads. I suspect since I pulled the powerheads from my old sump I might have introduced some bacteria. I jerryrigged my uvsterilizer in tonsavd the day. I added 2 icecap gyres as well. Before UV After uv this is some of the ugly slime Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Alright so rock work has been an absolute challenge with this tank. Right now I have been slowly popping corals off the rockwork and droping them to the sandbed while I move rocks out. I should have all the corals off the rock work and the rock work moved into the new display by this weekend.
I haven’t started arranging rocks in the new tank yet mostly concerned with moving then quickly but I have been playing around with a few pieces and I’m confident I won’t need to drill any rock. Getting some height is my main concern but as it stands I’m thinking of 3 bommies that kind of fan out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Tristian's Reef: Moving Mountains Aquascaping the 350
In this episode I show off the "probably" final aquascape of the new tank. Aquascaping can be a daunting task especially without a goal in mind. However, taking my time and not being under pressure to transfer my critters made things a little more bearable. Undoubtedly things might change, or once corals start going in the tank might evolve. Until then I think I will stick with this rock work. Thanks for watching please like and subscribe! |

It looks good. Plenty of room for fish and corals. What type of sand are you using?

I actually have an external fuge. I’m using the fuge in the crystal sump as a “cryptic fuge” only real live ocean rock

Finally got a good shot of my newest addition to the reef. It’s singularly the most expensive fish I have ever purchased!
In addition I got rid of the following fish to my lfs. Unfortunately with this volume I can’t take a chance with fish on the fringe. So I waved goodbye to my Potter’s Angel Coral Beauty 2 Sixline Wrasses Flame Angel African Flameback Pearly Scale Jawfish Grey Headed Wrasse Christmas Wrasse The jaw fish and last 2 wrasses could have stayed but they were larger than I wanted. I was afraid that they would eat my shrimp. I’m going to get 1 bluestar leopoard wrasse male and 2 females and look forward to them being in my tank. My last fish will be a pair of Flame Wrasses if I can find them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Figure I would throw these guys up here as well. I now have 10 of them in my tank. Easily the most active and attractive of all my dither fish!

Wow great build, congrats. I have a quick question How is the Kessil A80 Tuna Sun, I am building a IM Lagoon 25 no rear chamber so I have a Eshoop Nano sump and I was thinking about getting that light to grow some cheato do you think that would work?

It’s actually the tuna Flora that I use for my Refugium. But it’s absolutely great for growing my chaeto. It think it would work great for your Refugium.

In this episode I give a breakdown my my Cryptic Refugium, Plant some Mangroves and try out a cool feature of my Crystal Reef Aquatics sump. I'm excited to try growing these little trees in my sump and I hope that in addition to perhaps raising and keeping my PH high that they will extract and eat up any stray nutrients in the tank.

Awesome content! I only had time for a video or two, but I look forward to watching the rest and subscribing. I almost got an AGE 300 last year (but instead got another daughter! ). I am sure that you will love that thing! I am excited to get caught up with your progress and to learn what you will be using regarding lighting, filtration, CA and ALK supplementation, and such.
Keep it up! |

Honestly? Lol I'm not a pro youtuber and I'm not even sure anyone here is actually viewing my videos or content. Feedback is important and I'm thankful that some of the viewers have provided some. As for tips - Grab a Camera, PolypLab Filter Kit, and start making videos. Dosen't matter if theirs production value or not behind the video people just enjoy watching videos of cool tanks and following ppl with their journey in to Reef Stardom. I'd interact with your viewers if possible to keep them engaged with your content and definitely keep up with your build thread as well. Last but not least have fun. Your doing this for you and sharing your experiences good and bad. Forget the haters that like to play keyboard warrior and probably can't keep sand alive. I always thank everyone for their positive criticism and if I don't agree and go in another direction I do acknowledge where there may be other options but since its my tank, my pocket, my success and my failure, ultimately your suggestion is just a suggestion |
