Hey there, I do 10-15% water changes daily using triopic marin salt. And i dose 2 part bionic by ESV. Keeps my dKH at 8.5 and Ca at 390. I have a 90 display predominately sps and I do exactly the same thing. hope this helps. Al

10-15% water changes daily...really...daily? That seems a little like overkill, but if it works for you...

you change 30 TIMES as much water as I do in any of my tanks.

How about ph swings? Are you using chaeto or kalk at night? I am setting up a zoa only system and curious about how well they handle ph swings.

Great read on this short little thread. Very informative. 90% of my Zoa's have melted in the past year or so. I finally got motivated to figure out why. I keep a log of all my aquarium chemistry in excel and while I don't measure often I was able to look at it and determine that the main reason that my zoas vanished was low alkalinity and PH. My calcium levels are always high. One thing I have never measured is Mg I need to bite the bullet and get a kit. Not sure why I didnt start adding supplements to raise Alk and PH. Anyhow currently have my Alk and PH under control just need to maintain it and see what happens.
