Working on the room today and tomorrow.

The 150 cube is getting scratched, and instead we are going with the Marineland 250 deep dimension....and walling it in!

Thanks man...gotta run the electrical, insulate the walls, hang the outer wall drywall, finish out the drywall inside and out, hang trim, paint, do plumbing and build shelving. Still a ways to go but the majority is done now.

You and me both on seeing it up and running.

I used to think I put a lot of effort into tank builds! Wow.... This is commitment but as you say - the build really is a lot of the fun!

Hopefully tomorrow I can sand, paint, hang crown molding, and trim the room...which means this weekend it will be getting plumbed!

Ceiling was kind of a pain in the butt, the attic access was located in this area which we are relocating.

Very impressive handy man skills, I'll bet it will look awesome with some water in the tank. Great job. I'm jealous with all the room for equipment, maintenance should be almost something you look forward to.

Got to test out the floor in the room already...started filling an empty stock tank with rodi today and when I got home it had 4 inches of water in it...the rest leaked out of the drain which in my neglect I failed to check to see if it was tight...
