Here's my new dosing schedule.
I'll switch from Brightwell to Aquaforest in the next couple of months. More concentrate products in smaller bottles means cheaper shipping cost wich, for who lives out of Europe/EUA, is a good thing. Besides that, the results of AF are already proven, so I'll give it a shot. SEG – TLF Ferrion 20ml / TLF Strontium 10ml / AF Vitality 10 drops TER – Brightwell Koralle 30 ml / Brightwell Borochrom 15 ml QUA – AF Fluorine 10 drops / AF Micro E 10 drops/ AF Amino 20 drops QUI – AF Energy 20 drops/ TLF Ferrion 30 ml SEX – Brightwell Borochrom 15 ml / TLF Strontium 10 ml SAB – Brightwell Koralcolor 10 ml / Brightwell Lugol 5 drops / Nyos Coral Nectar 20 drops DOM – Brightwell Koralle 30 ml Alex

Alex - fantastic video. Much inspiration here for me! I love the coral placements and how you have used color to your advantage. Simply stunning!

Micromussas....THE very slow growers at this moment.
I'll improve the target feeding to try to change this. Alex

I am unfamiliar with that Anthias. It looks awesome! Time to do some research.

Hi janci,
I did it with my Canon EOS Rebel XSi with a regular 18~55mm Canon lens. ISO 1600 Aperture - 5,6 Exposure time 1/80 Focal lenght - 55mm WB in Custom mode Did some crop and post processing using Adobe photoshop CS3. I basically increase gamma, contrast ans brightness in my photos, to make them look more vivid. Best regards, Alex

I have been trying to take pictures with the 100mm macro lens but the fish moves too fast to get them well focussed. I guess I will try again with the normal 18-55mm lens as well. |

In my opinion the biggest problem shooting fishes isn't the lens, is the exposure time. Anything slower than 1/100 will give some blur. Try to raise the ISO and the aperture size to keep the exposure time around 1/100. The 18~55 ins't a good lens...Its luminosity is very poor and I only managed to get 5,6 of aperture at 55mm of focal lenght. I don't know the 100mm Macro very well but if it can give you a little more aperture (around f4,0 or f2,8) , indeed it's a better call. About the focus, the 18~55mm that I have is the regular one, so the focus isn't the USM. Any Canon lens with USM resource will give you a faster focus. Regards, Alex

Hi Alex,
The tank is simply amazing! How many fishes you have now? What do you feed them and how often? Enviado desde mi Aquaris X5 Plus mediante Tapatalk |
