Tunze 6155 to Tunze 7095 controller

I can't get my new 6155's to go lower than 40% on the 7095 controller when hooked up. The impellars actually stop when the setting is below 40%. The controllers that are included work fine. Is there something I could be missing?

It ran the old tunze 6100's just fine.

Thanks.

Yes, we changed the voltage signal slightly in the new pumps with controller, a calibration is required to get to the lower speeds on an older controller. I attach a walk through and while it mentions 6055 and 7095, it is the same for older 7096's and any of the new pumps with 7090. I also attach a video link, while it is in German, the visual may help.

1. Connect the 6055 to your 7095 controller
2. Please turn your 7095, to the minimum power of 30% on both speed settings for the channel it is connected to.
3. Turn the 6055 to the external mode (yellow LED lit).
4. Turn the "pulse power" dial on the 7090 to the middle position
5. Hold the Foodtimer button on the 7090, watch the dial on "pulse power” until you see a short flash of the blue LED continue to hold the button.
6. Turn "pulse power" until the 6055 starts in the minimal range, it may need to be turned in either direction, turn slowly until it starts then let go of the food timer button.

If this does not work, what has worked best for me is to then find the minimum speed on the 7095 that the 6055 will run on, set the speed a little below that, so if it runs at 60% try 50% and repeat the calibration so it runs at 50%, then repeat slowly stepping it down in increments of about 10% until the pump starts at 30%. I have had it take as many as 7 tries but usually it works in 1.

Reset 6105's to factory settings

Roger, is it necessary to reset the controller to factory if I do not wish to use the 7095 multi controller? I like how the pumps were before calibrating them to the 7095. I have ordered a y adapter and moonlight to control the pumps at night for a calm period.

Thanks.

It is not, they should work the same with no 7095 and be sure to get the Y cable 7090.300 and not the old 7092.340. The new pumps with 7090 just use the cable, the old pumps needed the 7092.340 as it prevented crossed signals, interference and back feeding of current but that is all built in to the 7090.
