Reef vase. Opinions

Hi everyone, I have just started my very first tank, or vase for that matter. can I have some opinions? thanks. been running for 3 weeks and still plan on adding more. Current inhabitants are 2 sexy shrimp, feather duster, 2 hermits, and xenia. There is no heater, only a bubbler and the lamp. Live sand and rock. feeding once a week and 100% water change. I have had no algae issues or any issues whatsoever. I don't even test my water parameters. I have a custom made lid which keeps evaporation to a minimum. The photos were taken with a cellphone, sorry for unrealistic color scheme.

Yeah that is definitely interesting, I'm not sure what else you would be able to add though

I am not sure I would add more livestock but you could see how a few zoa polyps do, or maybe a cheap discosoma shroom at the bottom to add a little color

Very cool!
Based on how you've set it up, sounds like you've done your research but I thought I'd through these links at you just in case cause they are awesome

Your setup looks dandy, I think the challenge now is adding corals in a way that looks purposeful instead of just tossed in. There's a "tips and tricks for aquascaping" thread in the discussion forum that has good advice about like using the color wheel to set diff specimens as neighbors to get the best from each. Pico tanks are fun, like bonsai.
