Need New Water Pump for my 29 Gallon BioCube
I need some Help.
The Stock water pump in my 29 Gallon BioCube is progressively getting louder. It sounds like it is going to go soon, so I want to replace it before it does. The tank is in my bedroom so I want to get as quiet of a pump as possible. I was thinking an upgrade might be in order. I see that many people have switched to the Maxijet 900. I have 2 questions about that upgrade, 1, is it loud?, 2, does it fit in the original water pump spot with out any mods? Anyone else have any other suggestions? Perhaps I should just get another stock pump? Thank you!! |

Mj 1200 might be a beter choice. Most people with bc 14 or nc 12 use mj 900. I have the nc 12 and use the mj 1200. It won't be anything your corals can't handle and is very quiet.

Eheim and Tunze make some sweet little pumps that are silent!

I used a MJ1200 in my old one too; quiet, never died, great little pump.
