Finding replacement bolts for ViparSpectra 165w for mounting

Just ordered a few ViparSpectra 165w for the reef.

I am looking to replace the existing bolts with longer ones, so I can properly add the brackets.

Uploaded the unit and bolt pics

-- What I know about the screw
- Metric
- I tested out bolts @ Home Depot and a nut that fits the M6-1.0 (Metric size) fits perfectly.
- US imperial, the diameter of the actual threaded part is 1/16th inch

Help me find a longer version of this bolt? Thanks

If i need some screws and such now, i'd go to Ace Hardware around here. They carry more selection than HD or Lowes it feels like.

But if i don't have a huge panic i get stuff from Bolt Depot.

Like this:

Or this if you are okay with zinc plating:

Smile Thanks!

Awesome. I might try out Ace since you said that.

Ok, so on those sites you sent me... so...

M=Metric
6 = Size Hole (mm)
1.0 = Pitch
x**** = Length of bolt

So I need an M6-1.0x20mm or whatever is longer than mine now.

Dude, thanks your awesome!

Just take a bolt with you... they have bolt/screw templates so you can figure out exactly what you need.
