What about a blackcheek moray? They only get around 2', I dont think they could take down a volitans or grouper?

Only have experience -- from years ago -- with the Black-edge / Ocellated Moray (Gymnothorax saxicola) from the Caribbean. As long as he was kept fed, he behaved himself. ...which probably explains why this species doesn't make the list.

I had a 5 foot green who wasnt all that bad, but my friend had a 3 foot peppered moringa in a 220 and it was a deamon.

Whole Foods sells both but it is much cheaper to buy at an Asian market if there is one in your area.
