Peter,
Some are working, but others say "deleted by photobucket"
Happens some threads more than others, is it a bug with Photobucket?

Very nice coral there, Jarrod. I did hear that lighting does effect the color of this cyphastrea.

Absolutely amazing. Mine looks like the first pic. How do I make it look like the lower pic? Is it placement? Flow? Water quality? Lighting?

Is that just laying on the sand? Do these grow like a chalice or more like a monti?

I'm really struggling with the ms. Crappy polyp extension if any. I can see red in the polyps but no extension. Just moved it to a lower flow area hoping it helps. Any suggestions. Checked params a couple days ago. All were in check.. God do I hope these take off.. Such great looking pieces..

Mine didn't grow at all for months, I had it right under my 150watt halide, moved it lower, right by the glass to one side and it has taken off. Has covered half of the rock it is on now. Sold as MS

I wish that was mine but it's not. Mine is only a little bigger than a golfball. It has taken off for me on a small rock right on my sandbed at the far end of my tank slightly shaded.

IME, it will do best when on rock to encrust on, low light seem to get deeper color, more light seems to dull the color down

I love the cyphastreas too and hope to add more when I can. I just got a frag of green cyphastrea called Toxic green. I have it under a temporary led lamp about a 5000K so the color is nothing like it was in the store. This one was very flourescent green!
