Stand help
I have a stand built out of 1x4 with 3/4 ply top and 1/2ply sides its for a 4x2 120 tank think it will hold had a 80 on it was fine

Plywood stands are SUPER STRONG. 2x4 and 4x4 are so overkill and most of the time the wood is inferior quality and compromises the built.

I believe he was asking if the stand will hold a 120 it previously held an 80

Yes 1x4 and ply is plenty strong as long as designed properly, your pics don't give the full answer there, but as long as you have vertical supports directly under horizontals, and not relying solely on screws should be good.
