Coraline algae color

Does my coraline algae look normal ?
Isn't it supposed to be purple? Mine seems like it's really faint

In well established flourishing tanks it will typically be deep pink/purple..
In new tanks,etc...not so much
Mag levels? They are often important..high mag sometimes helps..

I will never understand people wanting coralline..

I wanted it, then didnít, but now that itís been dying off, I kind of want it back again. The pink just makes everything look so happy.
