Kamoer FX STP Pump

So I set it up today.
Calibration was not too bad, I watched the U Tube video for added support even though the instructions are easy to understand.
Pump is quiet on a small shelf on the rear wall of the cabinet.
I think if the room is quiet I might be able to hear it but with the TV on I don't.
Initially running @ 50 ml/ min & 1 bubble / second.
I did have to increase the pressure in order to get a bubble since the previous flow through the reactor was double.
We Shall See---

Sorry is this the new peri pump that is single use only that run 24/7 and adjustable. I take it that you are using it on a Calcium reactor. I have heard about this think coming out.

No Sir,
networkcrasher has one, & says it works fine so I ordered one.
Never took a pic but the unit is small, maybe 3 x 5 inches, heavy with soft feet for any vibration.
I know what to listen for & can barely hear it when nothing is on in the room.

I am pulling through the reactor.
So far, only a week I have -o- problems, after an outage it returns to previous setting.
I may have to change something depending on my Alkalinity reading.
I was @ 7 and am looking to be 8.5 - 9. I am up to 7.7 @ the last test.
I am surprised that vendors handling the Kamoer multiple head doser do not offer it.

You should adjust your alk/ca with some two part to get it where you want to keep it. Then test daily and adjust the reactor pH and or effluent rate up or down to maintain the correct level. Don’t use the reactor to raise the levels. It will take much longer to find the sweet spot.

P
If I make it to the level I want with 2 part dosing, then how long I have to maintain this level before I turn off dosing pump to let the reactor take over?

You get your level to the target zone then shut off all dosing and test daily. If the alk levels rise, you slow down the reactor effluent and Co2 rate or reduce co2 rate to increase the pH in the reactor which will decrease the alk level of the reactors effluent. If the alk levels drop, you increase the effluent rate and or increase the Co2 rate (drop ph in reactor and raise the alk level of the effluent). Then test the tank water a day later and reassess. If it drops fast, dose again and test the following day after making adjustments to the calcium reactor until you find the sweet spot for the reactor. Continue to test regularly until you are confident that the reactor is taking care of things.

Well the electric company decided to work on the wires today.
There I am with my head in the stand checking something & out it goes.
Then I hear a beep every so often, just like a smoke detector with a low battery.
Could not pinpoint it so I figured after the juice is back it might go away.
After a nap, cause there is nothing needing attention more than me since we are scheduled to travel soon & I have been out of sorts.
With the wife telling me the beep is still there I go on a search again.
Much to my surprise it's the doser, must be an alarm on shutdown, did not hear it when I unplugged it for calibration.
Another win on this one! Now I just have to remember it ---
