For a dedicated SPS tank we recommend deducting 60% of the rated capacity so 26.4 gallons would be the ideal. I think it would work and you could use the DC model which would be more than enough, it is rated to 79 or 31.6 of SPS.

The DC model is more powerful than the regular model? I thought it just let you adjust the flow.

It takes in more air, and the air to water ratio stays linear, in the AC model you close the air and get more water. It is stronger, not by much, but enough to make a difference.
