Yellow fish for 45 gallon?

I don’t care for the yellow watchman gobies and have a green coris wrasse - so adding a yellow coris doesn’t seem like the best idea.

Are there any other alternatives for a yellow fish?

Current stock list - 2 oscellaris designer clowns, a neon dottyback, green coris wrasse, and I have 3 chalk bass in quarantine.

Well, there is the royal gamma basslet, but it is half yellow and half purple.

I was about to say Midas Blenny but what are the dimensions of your tank?

Or maybe a Canary Blenny (Meiacanthus).

I know this one’s not fully Yellow but a Bicolor Blenny.

Again only partially yellow but an Atlantic Cherub Angelfish.

If you want some Damsels, maybe an Azure. Not sure about the aggression level of the Lemon.

Oh wait..... a Yellow Assessor. Maybe that’s the best fit for you.

If you want a Blenny, Canary Blenny.

If you want a basslet, Yellow Assessor.

I heard the Meiacanthus Blennies If wild caught can be somewhat finicky eaters, you can go captive bred from ORA if you want a blenny that’s Yellow. Otherwise I think the Assessor would be your best choice though I’d monitor for any aggression from the Green Coris.

Gramma dejongi? Lol. That one’s insanely expensive.

Those get too big for a 45 gallon unless OP plans to upgrade.

Fox faces are my favorite fish however I hear they’re not a good idea. From what I’ve read is they grow quick

1. Canary Blenny

2. Yellow Assessor

Would be your best bets. Midas Blennies get to 5-6”.

If don’t mind a fish that’s only partially yellow, a Royal Gramma, Cherub Angelfish, Bicolor Blenny, and Azure Damsels would be your best bet.

Wait, one more. Yellow Striped Cardinalfish. You can maybe do a trio in a 45.

I second the vote for a yellow assessor, very vibrant color. A little yellow clown goby is another option.
