Ca Reactor question

Quick question about Ca Reactors. I’m about to start dialing mine in. If I let the feed and recirculation pump with NO CO2, will the effluent effect my Ca or dKh?

If I follow your question, running with just the feed and circulation, once the Co2 in the chamber is depleted and the CaRx pH matches the tank, the effluent will have no effect.
Most CaRx media is dead coral.
Only thing to be aware of is that if you run it to long like that, the same beneficial bacteria that populates your rock will start to populate the CaRx.
