Gold stripe maroon pair
Hi all, for the longest time I've been trying to source a GSM pair to no avail.
Live Aquaria have medium 1"-2" and large 2"-3",do you think getting a medium and a large would work out?, think I already know the answer, lol, but just throwing it out there. |

If they both came bigger than an inch and a quarter you could have problems.

Check clownfish marketplace on fb, lots of breeders on that page, I see a number of solid pairs of all species all the time

I believe you will be fine, i paired up a 2inch gsm with a 1inch lightning and they are fine. I also paired a 2.5inch lightning maroon with a 1.5 gold nugget n they were fine. Both only took within one day for the small one to submit...or maybe i was lucky...

I got lucky pairing mine but my female was established in the tank for over a year. I saw a batch at the lfs and bought the smallest one they had. I put it in a breeder container and hung it in the tank and the female just ignored it so I turned him loose. He did his little wiggle submit dance and they have been happy since. Been close to a year now. I do have over 20 bubble tip anemones so the male is never banished.
