I have a question about your shelf system.
I saw that you knockout holes in your vertical supports. What is your purpose for that? Thanks Mike |

Perhaps he is using a mix, or the salinity where he is could need boosted to get it where he wants. Just a couple of thoughts. Macado has taken some time off from the thread. Hopefully he will re-engage sometime soon.

First of all, I must confess that I'm pleasantly surprised by the attention that my thread continues to receive. I apologize to all for my tardiness in posting and keeping the thread updated but a lot of ongoing demands on my time impede me. I'll try to be more present and soon I'll post updates.
About the water in my prop: I always used synthetic saltwater but I'm using NSW one year ago. Cheers,

-Besides the use of NSW do you add any trace elements , carbon dosing or special feedings ? Because if you don`t ,i`ll go back to the basics and skip all that too , because your propagation tank looks so beautifull and clean !!! your coral collection is truely amazing , and i hope i can keep them as beautifull as you can some day. greetingzz tntneon

Hello Machado!
Do you ever try to use ozon in your system? Of course in conjunction with redox controler? |

Of the more than 4000 coral, which is your pride? If you can with photos.
Your future prospects and what corals you want to have in the future. Thank you for your answers.

Nursery - Tank destined to the first phase of the reproduction. Here the polyps, or fragments, come from the Maternity to develop themselves, they are fixed in rubber covers of plastic pipes flowers. They will remain in this place the necessary time until they reach a certain state of development. Day-care center - Tank destined to second phase of reproduction. They are transferred “babies already grown†from the Nursery together with the respective rubber covers. |
