lost my awesome fury best friend
For those with huggable fury friends, remember to cherish and enjoy all your time with them.
We just lost our beloved golden retriever, Bodie. He wasn't even 8 yrs old yet. Bodie was the sweetest, most lovable boy. Everyone that crossed paths with him, loved him. Well except maybe the neighbors chickens that he helped to exercise a few times. We can take some solace in knowing we shared wonderful times together and showered him with constant love and attention. Yesterday was a regular normal day. He went about his daily routines including his walk in the woods with my wife and less than 24 hrs later he is gone. We do not know the reason for this. The vet is thinking maybe some type of seizure or stroke and his system just started to shut down. |

What makes this extra painful is that Mr B appeared very healthy. He was in great shape. He was very active, walking / playing with his family and running around with my daughters 3 yr old retriever. Bodie went for daily walks in the woods with us where he loved to runaround with his nose on the ground smelling the wild life
Everyone aways commented on how good he looked. Bodie was always fed quality food, Science Diet, had regular vet checks and received the non stop love and attention he deserved. thanks again for the kind words |

So sorry for your loss. My family and I had to put down one of our goldens two weeks ago yesterday due to old age. I was in a fog for days. I can't imagine with the circumstances where you are at.
Wishing you solace and peace during a difficult time. |
