130 Gallon - 55” x 26” x 24” - STOCKING LIST ORDER

Howdy,

I’m getting a WaterBox 170 which has 131 gallon display tank which is 55” x 26” x 24”

Here are the reef safe fish I want to keep. I would like opinions on what order to stock these fish in.

• 2 Tank Raised Clownfish (False Percula)
• Watchman agony
• Magnificent Foxface
• Leopard Wrasse (Male)
• Purple FileFish
• Lyretail Anthias (Male & Female) ideas for Qty for 130 gallons?
• Purple Tang
• Potters Angelfish
• Orchid Dottyback

READY GO!!

Thanks!!!

Looks like a nice list!

You'll want to add the fish from most passive to more aggressive with the exception of the leopard wrasse and anthias, which will just need the tank to be more established (unless you add the fish slowly and the aggressive guys still go in last).

The clowns (if tiny) and firefish (I'm guessing you meant firefish and not filefish) can go in first. You can probably put them in with the dottyback and watchman goby too. The foxface can go in next with the tang and angel. As mentioned earlier, I would wait until you have a nice pod population for the leopard wrasse and pristine water conditions before adding the anthias group. From what I hear, it's best to keep 1 male with an odd number of females. In a tank your size, I would guesstimate you can probably have 5 females, but this isn't my specialty.

Another note on the leopard wrasse: females tend to be easier to find than males, but if you keep a female in your tank without a male being present, there is the possibility that she will become male and develop the colors you want.

Hope this helps! Looking forward to seeing the pictures!
