tunicata--you have some nice corals there--too bad the focus wasn't a little better
you have to show a whole tank view too---that is the purpose of this thread )

Ill sort some pics out of my sump when i get a chance and post them on that thread for you. As for feeding corals i hardly do anymore. Now and again i added frozen rotifers and cyclopeze but only straight in the tank not target feeding corals.

I am definetly interested in your system especially without running the protein skimmer. I am almost at that point with setting up the second refugium
are you running carbon or phosban in lieu of not running the skimmer?

I run carbon for about 1 week a month. I run a phosphate reactor all the time which i change the media on average every 2 months.
The system is very heavily stocked fish wise, yet the system is working great. After a few months of running the nitrates slowly got to around 25ppm the tank has been running about 1 year and 9 months now and the system has settled out and is showing 0ppm nitrate now on a salifert test kit. This is from nothing i have done just the system working on its own. I do around 100 liter water change every 2 months and thats about it apart from maually keeping my Ca in check. |

My soon to be upgraded 75. Moving up to a 180.
Pictures are from last fall. There have been some changes. Coral wars broke out and the bubble was lost. I banished the plate for it's aggression. Lot's of hammer and frogspawn growth since then. I'll try to get some new pic's before the upgrade.
