All of you tanks are amazingly beautiful and healthy. What is the difference of ez550 with your main display tank? What negative do you see at poor man's reef, and you still keep your skimmer inside your other tanks :-)?

The ez550reef works with 4 basic product
The reef1200 works with 5 basic product
The officetank (poor man's reef) has been running on Ez before, but now trailrunning on a new 2 channel dosing system

All my reefsystems are now running without protein skimmer.
The ez550reef since 17 oktober 2019
The reef1200 and angelreef since november 2019
The offfice tank since 2015.
All of them of course without regular waterchanges.

I am glad. I now hope after maybe 10 years you can persuade ,more reefers, to stop running skimmers. Before 10-15 years you know better than me, how controversial was not doing water changes, nowadays is something accepted if not adopted by a big percentage of reefers. Skimmers on the other hand , are still considered as the most important equipment of a reef tank, from the majority of reefers.i hope Reefers like you, can change that trend.

I know.. i was on the frontline of ommiting the regular WC. Many were very sceptical

I take many pictures all the time. Sometimes I get inspired an do a timeline collection

Anything can be learned. It's quiet logical.
You just need to put some time into it and do some research.
